‘Monthly Food packets distribution’
Poverty is the main issue in India, According to “The Hindu 22 July 2013” Poverty rate in MP is 36 percent.
A report said “However Madhya Pradesh has unlikely to be at par with the high target as huge chronic hunger, malnutrition & starvation became synonymous of child health in Madhya Pradesh especially among marginalized tribal & dalit children. Madhya Pradesh has extremely alarming level of hunger and starvation in the Global Hunger Index, 2008. The situation of hunger in Madhya Pradesh is compared to Sub Saharan African Countries like Ethiopia and Chad.” (Bringing reality in front, page 4)
Poor growth and micronutrient deficiency mainly attack older infants and young children.
Our Mission ‘HELP THEM TO SURVIVE’ to help the community and provide Basic FOODS who are surviving badely.
Food Distribution program started in 2013, and organized monthly basis.
The Food Distribution Program are for those families who are not able to afford their Basic Food Expense due to Old Age, illness, Accident etc.
Till now we have distributed 230*+ FOOD PACKETS in 57* families.
Baseline and follow-up cross-sectional surveys were conducted time to time to keep continue or discontine the Food.
What foods are available through HELP FOR HUMANITY.
Each month, participating households receive a food packet to help them maintain a nutritionally balanced diet. products including:
- Rice and Flour
- Cooking Oil and Ghee
- Tea, Sugar, Salt
- Haldi, Mirch, Dhaniya, Pickle and Garam Masala
- Detergent Powder + Soap
- Hair Oil and Tooth Paste
